Suitable
farmland for reforestation must have the necessary soil &
water conditions. It must also be accessible by external & internal
roads, and have a near smooth to rolling topography…
The
better the
topography
the greater density of seedlings that can be planted.
All
are located in the optimum climate.
If any secondary uses are intended for the property, such as
Tourism & Retirement the land closest to the beach, or forested with
waterfalls may be desired, etc.
So…to
put an exact price per acre is a bit difficult, but a figure to look at as
an average, is $1.750
per acre…
Also
figure a farm size of 75 ac. up. Smaller will run a bit
higher p/ac…
